HALO 5 Whole House Filtration & Conditioning System
The HALO 5 is a maintenance-free, whole-house water filtration and conditioning system designed to improve water quality at every tap while helping protect plumbing and appliances from scale buildup.

Basic Installation Includes
- Delivery of the HALO 5 filtration system
- Installation of the filter within 10 feet of a ¾” to 1” main water line
- Drain connection to a sump pump or floor drain
- Installation of two ball-style shut-off valves
5-Stage Advanced Filtration Process
Stage 1 – HALO GAC Filtration
Acid-washed Granular Activated Carbon helps reduce chlorine, chloramines, gases, dyes, fuels, heavy metals, man-made pollutants, disinfectants, pesticides, TTHM, sodium hypochlorite, undesirable odors, undesirable taste, and volatile organic contaminants. This media meets or exceeds NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and applicable industry standards.
Stage 2 – HALO HAC Catalytic Carbon
Catalytic HAC is designed to successfully reduce free chlorine from water supplies, improving overall water quality with a cleaner taste and fresher odor. It performs across a wide pH range and adds a high “polish” to filtered water. Meets or exceeds NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 requirements.
Stage 3 – HALO Ag Plus Media
HALO Ag Plus is an all-natural, environmentally safe media with a large surface area and micro-porous structure. It reduces suspended matter down to the 5-micron (or less) range, making it highly effective at removing turbidity. Meets or exceeds NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 requirements.
Stage 4 – High-Density Garnet Filter Media
Garnet is a high-hardness, high-density granular filtration media that can effectively filter down to the 10–20 micron range. It also provides an excellent support bed for the other filtration media. Meets or exceeds AWWA specifications and is classified in accordance with NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.
Stage 5 – HALO ION Proprietary Scale Inhibitor Water Conditioner
The proprietary HALO ION in-line water conditioner uses multi-reversing polarity permanent magnetic fields to alter the molecular structure of dissolved calcium and magnesium ions. This helps keep hard water minerals suspended in the water instead of attaching to pipes and appliances, reducing scale buildup and helping prevent corrosion. Conditioned water can also help dissolve existing scale over time. With over 45 years of proven performance, HALO ION is an eco-friendly hard water treatment solution.
